H I S T O R Y“Regardless of it being forbidden, if it is being used with good intentions, then I believe there can be exceptions.”Born in the South Shroud under physically and emotionally abusive parents, Eden was more of a slave rather than a son. Since they owned a small farm, he was always forced to do all errands and chores, so that the family would have crops to either consume or sell every month. And because he was kept busy, the poor chocobo they happen to own was his only companion and friend. Because his parents would refuse to take care of the poor bird, Eden was the one to always make sure it was being fed and in best health as possible.Although he had far too many responsibilities at such young age, he was always curious about plants. Wanting to learn more about them, he had once asked his parents for a book on plants, but they considered it a "waste" to put it lightly. However, he had noticed every few weeks a traveling merchant would pass by late night carrying variety of goods. So, Eden would start stealing a small percentage of his parents' crops sales as his allowance and then watch out from his bedroom window every night to wait for the merchant, sneak out in hopes he would have any sort of book that he could purchase. This was the only way he was able to learn about other city-states, races, plants, and wildlife that exist in Eorzea and he was incredibly fascinated, dreaming of seeing all these creations with his own eyes one day.With his parents continuing to abuse him throughout his teenage and young-adult years, he finally decided escape from them but he told himself it will only be for awhile as he had planned on returning once he had something to prove to his parents they could be truly proud of. And although he had wanted to take his chocobo with him, he felt he was already being selfish enough, leaving his parents without a single word.Eden would then arrive in New Gridania and immediately take interest in becoming a conjurer with his desire to help others. Then, he would travel to Ishgard for charity and be introduced to astrology. The ability to heal by drawing strength from the stars intrigued him greatly and it also reminded him of those many nights he would stargaze from his bedroom window while waiting for the traveling merchant to pass by.While Eden continued to study in becoming an astrologian, he also realized that it would perhaps be beneficial to learn to wield some sort of blade. So, he traveled to Ul'dah to try his hands on becoming a gladiator only to chicken out as soon as he had stepped inside the guild. He had thought about giving up until he witnessed a Miqo'te man in the Thanalans fending off an aggressive Giant Tortoise from a Hyur girl, using a rapier to not only cast magick but to also attack with it at a close range. Astonished, Eden was informed of red magick by this Miqo'te and quickly begged to allow him to be his apprentice. Currently, Eden is a skilled red mage and astrologian.
P E R S O N A L I T Y“If it means happiness to them, then I'll do whatever I can to protect it!”Eden’s generally an introvert, but after becoming a skilled red mage and astrologian, he has become more open to people. He holds a calm composure, but it is quite easy to get him flustered. And although he does tend to let his emotions get the best of him, he is always kind to everyone he meets and talks to. He is extremely polite with his words, especially after studying Far Eastern culture, but he also tends to become overly anxious and apologize profusely for even the smallest things mostly due to how he was treated by his parents.
J O B S“You should stop by shop when you can! We have all kinds of remedies to help you on your next adventure.”Throughout his adventure, Eden became more interested in alchemy and healing. So, he had spent an extensive time in Ul'dah to study alchemy and then travel around Eorzea to further research on medicinary. Eventually, he managed to get certified in alchemy and soon opened a small greenhouse and an infirmary/urgent care in the Lavender Beds.However due to personal reasons, he later sold the business and thought about retiring early with his husband, Kai Tsurugi. But with his desire to help others still strong, he decided to open a small apothecary under the Tsurugi Clan in the Mist instead called Higanbana Apothecary.
L I K E S“Oh, you like it?! That's a huge relief... I'll bring some more for you next if you'd like!”Eden loves plants, but he especially adores flowers. He has a lovely garden in the estate that he lives with his husband in and he also grows plenty of his own vegetables and fruits there as well. Other than that, Eden enjoys cooking and baking, too.Ever since he studied astrology, he has also enjoyed doing tarot readings and he'd be more than happy to give you a reading if you were to ask him!
D I S L I K E S“Um... It's still the thought that counts!”Eden gets anxious and scared easily. He may even end up crying if you tease him a little too much. He also does not like to be yelled at, not only because of how sensitive Elezen ears are, but because of how much he was yelled at by his parents. On that topic, he tends to try to dodge conversations regarding his family and his childhood as well.Lastly, Eden has a hard time understanding that it is impossible to make everyone happy.

R O M A N T I C - I N T E R E S TMarried to Kai Tsurugi“He’s someone I’ve looked up to ever since we first met and now we’re lovers.”Eden is happily married to Kai Tsurugi (his maiden name is Eden Brilanione), the son of Tsurugi clan's patriarch in Hingashi. Kai was the one who helped him when he got lost in Limsa Lominsa at the time he had just become a mercenary, and then soon opened up to become Eden’s friend. Later on, Eden often offered his help with Kai’s job as a bounty hunter, and ever since then, they have been going on other hunts and missions together.As they continued to spend more time together, they grew incredibly close and began holding romantic feelings for each other. Eden noticed this about himself during their first training session together when he was wrestling the tall, muscular Raen and got both of them in a rather awkward position. He became unsure what to do with this feeling, but he knew he wanted to keep seeing Kai, so he once invited him over to his estate for dinner and while stargazing together on the roof, they confessed their feelings for each other.Through their relationship, Kai has also greatly helped Eden with his self-esteem and confidence. And Eden only hopes to continue becoming stronger to be able to protect his loved ones.

They realized this cat was going to mean the world to them. Cosimo also strangely has a liking to the onsen specifically. You can say this cat is quite out of this world.6. Eden's mother's name is Ozie Brilanione and his father's name is Ilpert Brilanione.
